Almost everyone would like to arrive at financial independence but very few people find the vehicle to get him or her there. There are countless opportunities (vehicles) on the Internet but how do you choose one that is right for you?

Here are a few Guidelines:

  1. Low Start-up Cost: Find one with a low start-up cost/investment. Many opportunities require $1,000 to $3,000 and more to get started. Be careful! Some of the best ones have a low start-up cost. Some even allow you to get started for a FREE trial period. These are excellent because you can test drive their system before you invest ANY hard-earned dollars.
  2. Valuable Products: Their product should be valuable and have a worldwide appeal. It should include things that nearly everyone could benefit from having or using.
  3. Consumable Product: Consumable products or services are those that people can benefit from over and over again… month after month. This repeat business ensures stability in your business.
  4. Short Learning Curve: It must have a short learning curve in order for it to attract the masses. Some companies require countless hours of learning, preparation and getting ready to get started.
  5. Simple Automated System: Companies that have a simple-to-use automated system are the best to get involved with. Many people avoid systems that require a lot of complicated set-up. Some even require technical knowledge that few have.
  6. NO Selling or Explaining: Companies that have high-quality professional multi-media overview business presentations are really supporting their distributors/affiliates. When their presentation is good it does all the telling, selling and explaining for you. That means less rejection.
  7. National Recognition: Be careful of “ground-floor” opportunities and new start-ups. They need time to work out the bugs in their systems. Instead, find a company that is well-established and one that has some national media recognition and validation.
  8. Online Support: Look for an opportunity that allows you to be in business for yourself but not by yourself. They should provide support from upline leaders. Companies that provide active online forums allow members to get the help they need. Telephone Support: Have you ever inquired about a company or worked with a company where you were not able to talk with a customer service or affiliate representative? It’s important to have that kind of support.
  9. Income for Life: Find a company that has good provisions for you to develop “residual income”… which is “Income for Life.” It’s the kind of income that keeps coming in even when you slow down or stop…Nothing like a job that pays you only as long as you trade your hours for dollars.
  10. Mentorship: Mentors are important. Even more important than finding a great company/opportunity it is vital to join with someone who will be a mentor dedicated to your success. Please refer to my previous post that explains the importance of mentors.

I have personally experienced the Good, the Bad and the Ugly during my 30+ years of starting and running numerous offline and online businesses. I have been involved with companies that demonstrated the opposite of ALL the good qualities listed above. I have become highly selective in my old age… always on the look out for a solid company that I can feel good about recommending to fellow entrepreneurs.

I recently found a company that demonstrates ALL of the above qualities. I am particularly excited about the fact that a person can actually start for FREE… to check it out before moving forward. Check it out by visiting: Earn-Income-For-Life and let me know what you think by posting a comment on this blog.
